Released a day before bonfire night, the latest single ‘Burn’ represents the rage we feel towards the destructive people in power. The song kicks off with ‘an angry mob’ yelling at our leaders from outside, telling them to really see the anguish they are causing.
There are many places around the world where "it" burns, currently more than ever it seems. And wherever fire blazes in the real or figurative sense, different interests and points of view collide, sometimes bloodily and mercilessly.
Which is the consuming fire that takes our breath and our future? Which is the rebellious, purifying fire that fights against oppression and grievances? It's not always easy to tell, but if in the end everything really does go up in flames because the powerful who could have actually done something, didn't,
then "the sky will burn in your name," as Electric Enemy invoke in their lyrics. “’Burn’ represents the rage we feel towards the destructive people in power."
The band commented on the message in the new single and its creation.
‘Burn’ is a song that says ‘alright, we’ve had enough now -
"The song kicks off with ‘an angry mob’ yelling at our leaders from outside, telling them to really see the anguish they are causing. Put simply, Burn is an expression of the reaction to the injustices that occur on a daily basis.
We wanted to create a heavy song that reflects how we feel about the current state of the country we live in and the planet we live on and eventually came up with the second riff you hear after the chorus, which incorporates those elements of rage and frustration quite well."
"Burn it to the ground… start anew.”

The new single ‘Burn’ was made at Otterhead Studios and recorded by two time Grammy award winning producer Adrian Bushby.
